Bonaire
Bonaire is renowned for its excellent scuba diving and snorkeling. Its waters are a national park designated by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration as having not only the Caribbean’s most pristine reef environment but also the most species of fish. Incredibly, the reef sits just a few feet from the coastline, making first-class dive sites remarkably accessible. Above the surface, visitors can take their pick of watersports, including fishing, sailing, world-class windsurfing, kitesurfing, and kayaking the island’s mangrove system. Birdwatching, hiking, caving, and rope climbing Bonaire’s limestone walls are popular, land-based experiences.
The History of Harbour Village
Harbour Village Beach Club is still nurtured by the family who created it three decades ago after discovering the beauty of Bonaire on a sailing excursion. The father, a Spanish engineer, and the mother, a Venezuelan architect, sailed the seas of the world seeking family experiences, but Bonaire captured their attention and captivated their spirit. Today, guests are mesmerized by the same magic, a feeling passionately shared by the family’s second generation.
Harbour Village Marina
Our Bonaire marina offers the perfect place to dock in the Dutch Caribbean with 60 slips for yachts of up to 150 feet, as well as one dock for 240-foot mega-yachts.
Preserving Our Oceans
From our non–profit organization, the Harbour Village Reef Foundation, to our sustainable resort practices, Harbour Village is committed to protecting our marine ecosystems through research, education, and raising global ocean awareness. Bonaire is a protected Marine Park and all visitors are required to pay the Bonaire Nature Fee prior to their stay. As a result of our commitment to growing and bettering our sustainable efforts, Harbour Village earned a 4-Star Blue Destination certification from Green Destinations and Good Travel Guide.
